We expect all students to wear the school uniform. This encourages a sense of identity and pride in our school and helps us to maintain a good standard of appearance.
 
The school jumpers and polo shirts are available from Key Wear in Truro.

Nursery to Year 6
  • Pale blue polo shirt, with or without school logo
  • Navy blue round-neck jumper/hoodie or cardigan with embroidered school badge
  • Smart grey tailored school trousers, shorts, school skirts or pinafores
  • Blue/White checked summer dresses (optional)
  • Socks: Plain black, grey or white
  • Tights: Plain black or grey
  • Shoes: Black flat-heeled, polish-able shoes with covered heels and toes.
  • A named pair of wellington boots for use in school
 
  • Skirt length should be approximately knee length.
  • Trousers must not be flared, bootlegged, skinny-fit or of Lycra or denim.
  • Trainers, canvas or suede shoes or footwear with logos, fashion styles including large bows, buckles or studs are not acceptable.
  • Extremes of fashion are not acceptable.
  • Shirts should be worn tucked into trousers or skirts.
  • A simple black or grey belt only may be worn with trousers.
 
P.E. Kit (General)
  • St Erme navy blue t-shirt from Keywear
  • Black shorts or skort
  • White socks (indoor sports)
  • Plain neutral colour (black/navy/grey) track suit or warmer outer clothing for cold weather (optional)
  • A pair of plimsoles or trainers
  • Suitable P.E. bag to contain items whilst in school
 
Hair accessories – blue/black colours only.
Shoulder length hair must be tied up at all times.
 
 
Jewellery
On health and safety grounds, we do not allow children to wear jewellery in school, apart from small stud earrings and watches. (No bracelets or necklaces.)
Stud earrings should be covered for PE (including swimming).
Make up and cosmetics (including nail varnish)
These are not considered appropriate or consistent with our school uniform and are not permitted.
All clothing and footwear should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.
