Welcome to St Erme with Trispen Primary School

Welcome to St Erme with Trispen Primary School!

We are a happy, hard working and successful village school on the outskirts of Truro, serving the community of Trispen and St Erme and surrounding areas. We were rated by OFSTED in 2018 as consistently good. Central to our school community is a very positive ethos of high academic standards, good behaviour and independent learning. Our children are happy and enthusiastic learners and achieve very well. We make our learning environments and our lessons engaging and fun and we have a thriving Early Years Foundation Stage Unit for children aged 3 to 5 with excellent indoor and outdoor learning facilities.

To find out about our school, we encourage you to come and visit, to see us in action and meet staff and children. A call to the school office on 01872 279539 is all that is needed to arrange this.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our new children and families.

    Mrs Nicola Drake

    Headteacher

OFSTED say....... Pupils at St Erme with Trispen achieve well. Parents are highly supportive of the school. Every parent would recommend the school and agrees that their child is happy. They greatly value the school’s caring and nurturing ethos. One parental comment, typical of many, stated, ‘My children look forward to going to school every day because the staff have done such a great job at making them feel noticed and valued.’ Many say that the school is ‘fantastic’, with several commenting on the interesting curriculum and the wide variety of clubs provided. Pupils enjoy school and, as a result, their attendance is good. Inspection evidence shows that pupils across the school behave well.
