School Emergency Closures
In the unlikely event of storm damage or bad weather (snow or ice) forcing the school to close, the following procedure will be taken:
- Closure before school begins (i.e overnight or before 8am). We will send communications via email and Dojo. Information will also be shared on our social media and website as soon as possible.
- Closure during the school day: we shall send communications via email and Dojo.
- On the school website news feed and banner
- On the school social media Facebook page
- On Cornwall Council's School Closure webpage : School closures in emergencies - Cornwall Council
In addition, providing it is safe to do so, a member of staff will be at the school gate to meet any parents and children who have missed the above messages.
